What is YTN’s Community of Practice (CoP)?

The Community of Practice brings together emerging and established young leaders, peacebuilders, researchers, and activists who are passionate about advancing the decolonization of peace and security.

Anchored in a youth-led, Global South-centered perspective, the CoP offers a safe, collaborative, and interdisciplinary space to critically interrogate colonial legacies within peace and security frameworks and co-create alternative narratives that are inclusive, just, and rooted in lived realities.

What to Expect?

The CoP is a space for:

• Mutual learning and solidarity

• Regular knowledge exchange

• Webinars, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative meetings

• Dissemination of original content

• Co-creation of decolonial tools and approaches
