Theodore Hunt is a recent graduate from the University of Sheffield, where he earned a master’s degree in International Law and Global Justice, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. His work is primarily underpinned by postcolonial and decolonial perspectives, examining the contemporary effects of empire and imperialism within the modern justice system—particularly in the epistemological dimension, exploring how international law upholds dominant historical narratives that favour the powerful. His research critiquing the current enforcement of human rights and Brazilian abortion law has been published in an international journal. Theodore is thrilled to join YTN to collaborate with scholars around the world, build a strong academic community, and contribute to meaningful, much-needed change.
