Mariyum Areeb Amjad is a peacebuilding and development practitioner with expertise in programme management, youth engagement, and decolonial monitoring, evaluation, and learning (DMEL). She has served as a Program Officer and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Co-Lead at HIVE Pakistan, where she designed participatory learning frameworks and supported peacebuilding and community-led development initiatives. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Human Rights at the University of London as a Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholar. Mariyum also serves as a Youth Advisor to the EU Community of Practice on Peace Mediation and is the Co-National Director of Pakistan Unites, a national youth movement dedicated to advancing peacebuilding, youth leadership, and meaningful youth engagement across Pakistan. Her areas of work include peacebuilding, project management, decolonial monitoring, evaluation and learning (DMEL), and the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda.
