Janda Barazi is a first-year PhD student at the Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Clark University. She holds a BA in Political Science/International Affairs and MA in International Affairs from the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Lebanon.

Barazi is a two-time recipient of the Middle East Partnership Initiative Tomorrow's Leaders Program. As a researcher, Barazi's work focuses on political violence in the Middle East through the lens of mass violence. Specifically, her work focuses on the 2014 Yazidi genocide.
