Global Coalition on Youth, Peace and Security
Youth Transforming Narratives (YTN) is a proud member organization of the Global Coalition on Youth, Peace and Security. It is a UN-civil society partnership to advance #Youth4Peace globally and locally. The GCYPS facilitates exchange, coordination, and collaboration between more than 70 organisations, including youth-led and youth-focused organisations, from civil society, UN entities, donors, academia and inter-governmental bodies. The central objective of the coalition is to strengthen youth participation in peacebuilding policy and practice. One of many milestones achieved through the coalition was the groundbreaking adoption of UN Security Council resolution 2250.
Article 109
Article 109 is an international coalition mobilising to renew the Charter of the UN. Originally launched by two dozen civil society organisations in Kenya, the coalition now brings together former Ambassadors, government officials and senior UN officials with academics, seasoned campaigners, non-profit executives, and civil society organisations from around the world. It builds support for an unused pathway for reform found within the Charter itself: Article 109.
